As we navigate through this dynamic landscape, we're seeking a skilled professional to fill a crucial role: managing public funding for our R&D center in Dresden on a fixed-term contract covering parental leave. The purpose of the role is to secure and manage public funding for the Vodafone R&D center in Dresden. The strategic project Phoenix has identified that addressing public funding in the EU is important in general, and addressing public funds is a key element of the Dresden R&D center. The position should oversee or assist with other public funding initiatives outside of the Dresden Center. . The role will oversee administrative, financial, and technical elements of public-funded projects funded by German ministries and the EU. 
What will you be doing? 
Identify suitable public funding calls, evaluate strategic fit with Vodafone functions and R&D hub and prepare proposals Organize funding projects with external stakeholders in consortiums Coordinate and create public funding applications from an administrative and content perspective and organize sign-off from VF stakeholders Manage funding projects from an administrative and content perspective and ensure necessary reporting and compliance Manage a strategic portfolio of public funding projects and engage key decision-makers in setting up new funding instruments. It would be nice if you had: MSc-level degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or Administration Experience in setting up and running public-funded research projects, ideal at EU and German levels (BMBF, BMVI, Bundesländer) Outstanding writing and communication abilities in both German and English with both technical and non-technical stakeholders This is a minimum 30-hour position that can be full-time or part-time.
